At Smile Essential, we understand that some patients are nervous about visiting the dentist. Fear of the dentist can be caused by unpleasant experiences in the past, the sounds and smells of the dental surgery, or a phobia of needles - which is why we have invested in the pain free injection system, The Wand.

We routinely use a topical gel or spray for all patients to help prevent any pain, and deliver injections of anaesthetic with The Wand. The Wand is a computer-controlled way of delivering anaesthetic that prevents the bee-sting pain associated with traditional injections.
