I'm in Pain

Often, the first sign of a dental emergency is pain. Dental pain can be severe and you should never delay seeking treatment. That's why at Smile Essential we offer a same-day emergency treatment to both registered and unregistered patients. If you need an emergency dentist in Leicester, please contact our practice immediately on 0116 2891317.
Registered patients
So long as you call us before 10am, we will offer you at least one appointment on the same day with one of our dentists. While we always aim to give you an appointment with your usual dentist, this may not always be possible. However, you will be offered an appointment with one of the other two dentists. All of our dentists have the same caring ethos that defines our practice, so you can still be sure of the highest standards of care.
If your emergency occurs after 10am, do still call us and we'll offer you the next available appointment within 24 hours and where possible, we will always endeavour to offer a same day appointment to you.
Unregistered patients
Even if you are not registered at our practice, we will still provide you with emergency dental care. We will treat any patient, on the same day if possible, for a fixed fee. While we may not be able to carry out permanent or definitive treatment, such as root canal treatment, at this appointment, we will be able to dress the tooth and do whatever is necessary to help relieve the pain. We will never leave a patient in pain. You may require follow-up appointments, either at our practice or with your own dentist if you are registered elsewhere.
If you've put off visiting the dentist until an emergency arises because of dental phobia, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands. Please visit our Nervous Patients page to see how we can help alleviate your fears.
