Practice Manager/Oral Health Educator

Qualifications: National Certificate In Dental Nursing (NEBDN), Oral Health Education, Dental Radiography and NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration
Dawn has been at the practice since 1986. Her impressive positive spirit helps her to undertake any challenge with a beaming smile on her face. She is multi-skilled and divides her time between working as an Oral Health Educator and as Practice Manager.
In her role as Practice Manager, Dawn attends regular seminars/courses in order to remain up to date in any ideas that may benefit the practice. Dawn is very passionate about her work and has a keen interest in educating both adults and children about healthy teeth. Her approachable and cheery manner allows patients to feel comfortable and welcomed by her.
She ensures that all policies and procedures are in place and up to date. She manages a competent and enthusiastic dental team, providing a high level of customer service and responding to all enquires successfully in a prompt and efficient way. She is always at hand to ensure all patients have an excellent Smile Essential experience.
Outside of the practice, Dawn enjoys holidays in the sun, spending some quality family time and socialising with friends. She is a keen gardener and enjoys walking. She also volunteers at a local Scouts group- Thurmaston Scouts.
